the intermezzo ep kicks off with we are here, which could be easily described as get out part 2. a spoken word vocal over kerris trademark beats and instrumentation, musing on the subject of a busy schedule and calways available technology. so it begins again takes things down a much more tribal road, perfect for a big room, and the dc10 mix is a nod towards the direction kerri had in mind and the dancefloors he created this track for. the dark mix takes this idea even further with a more progressive feel as the track plays out. red lights explores a more live drum feel with a cut-up breakbeat playing a 4/4 rhythm, and a throbbing bassline and synth pattern. this one is a little deeper but still packs plenty of punch!

1st ep from australian dubstep duo. kito provides the bass heavy pop-infused production skills, blending perfectly with reija lees lively crisp vocals. dubstep has been in search of that perfect pop cross-over & they do it with class & flair.

the mex machine ep features 5 original tracks, each showcasing a different side of the toy selectah sound. >sonidero compay< is a big meeting of the minds, featuring the reggaeton king dj blass over a proper cumbia beat from toy. toy revs all the way up to 150bpm territory with >la ravertona<! (strap on your glow in the dark cowboy boots). most tracks fall somewhere in the middle of >sonidero compay< and >la ravertona<. toy teams up with mad decent label-mate mumdance for >anni riddim<, a good example of toys personal hybrid land. mex machine is a milestone release for one of the most exciting and influential artists coming out of mexico today!

aux 88 mad scientist volume 2 marks the dark side of the scientist. fans have been asking for vinyl and aux 88 and puzzlebox records deliver. gosub and mr velcro fastener pump the song >exsterterestrial time travelers<with new surgeon like precision with aux 88s great vocalization over the top to give the electro world more of what only aux 88 can bring on a dance floor.
side b is the first of 2 ongoing collaborations with the dynamik bass system giving aux 88 even more bass. last is one of aux 88 croatian brothers nter from the crobot crew. taking on time portal nter gives his mix a electro funk style mix showing why the crobots have soul.

big with julien chaptal, luciano, gel abril, mihai popoviciu, keinemusik crew, nekes, affkt, meat, anthony collins, luca doobie, mirco violi, varoslav,.. dj sneak-fans, check this one out! the connection between off and italy has always been strong, now another promising act from the italian capital rome will be added to the off roster. >mad & son< is a massive floorburner, possibly one of the most danceable tracks ever released on off. a huge classic italo-disco-sample cut up, looped and accompanied by self-played keys, a massive groove and killer bassline. off-regular dj w!ld delivers one of his classical linear and toolish mixes, taking back the use of the discoloop and focusing more on the groove. >phased< works quite similar to >mad & son<, also working with a discoloop but adding raw spoken-wordvocs. dancefloor-destruction guaranteed. >whats going on< is probably the most sneak-ish tracks of the bunch, an intense filtered loop, jacking beat, techhousy groove and driving vocals.

sandy warez is a well-known name in the world of noise. working with a number of different artists, as well as solo he has had many releases on several labels over the years (4x4, artillery, cluster, combat-skill, compressed, corachi, corporation, d-form, djax up beats, epileptik, fatallic resignation, friendlyfire, future frontier, industrial strenght, inflicted, invasion, jackstar, jason mask, madhouse both in the genres of hardcore and techno. sandy is famous for playing a unique mix of techno-industrial-hardcore, compatible for both hardcore and hardtechno events. he plays at high bpm, but with a very uplifting vibe.

not many single releases can be labelled as events, especially not in the ever homogenised techno world, but the first single from model 500 in eleven years, and the first recorded by the new band line up is most definitely an event.
its only fitting that this single is released on r&s records, whose relationship with the man widely acknowledged as the originator of detroit techno goes back 17 years and who released the last model 500 album back in 1999.

bosco delrey is at once a thick combination of influences and a totally unique voice in current music. diplo describes him as >a sort of garbage can elvis from new jersey... teaspoon craziness, a pinch of rockabilly, and full cup of soul dressed in a leather jacket. he cant be topped as far as song writing... hes doin the music i wish i could if i had bought a guitar<, the fader called his song >round n round hillbillyhall, and boscos own myspace says >jerry lee lewis carol king of pop<. but whatever you call him, bosco delrey is making music that is instantly accessible, totally cool, and unlike anything else on our wide-sweeping mad decent radar.

space junky is the track that first brought bosco delrey to public attention, landing him pieces on the fader, rcrdlbl and elsewhere. it features his typical excess of influences- semi-psychedelic guitars, bedroom soul hooks, splurting dancehall reggae basslines- anchored down by solid songwriting and lyrics. it s a weirdly great combination that made us think this guy might be on to something. my my racecar is harder to pin down, but no less intriguing with a chopped up guitar lead, mouth pop rhythm section and zipping bass. the drop the lime influence shines on these two tracks, lending heavy bass, sound effects and making everything crispy.

adam beyer returns to mad eye with a storming two tracker. keeping it deep and funky and a little bit druggy, beyer takes us on a swirling journey with eerie synths and dubby bass. this is definitely not a record just for a techno frat - you will definitely see cross over to the tech and deep house boys who yearn for something a little bit tougher in their sets. once again beyer can do no wrong as he cements himself as one of the biggest names in techno today. sickeningly good!

the original pressing of >get off< with serato control vinyl on the bside sold out before we even got them all back from the pressing plant. unfortunately we weren t able to press any more with serato, but we ve been getting requests all along and now that we ve got this jamming new remix from jack beats, we felt the time was right. if you don t know jack beats, they are plus one (of scratch perverts) and beni g. these guys are heavy on the uk scene and have recently done remix work for lady sov, white williams, ac slater, does it offend you yeah?, caspa, black ghosts and much more. they turn in an epic remix that switches from rough mid tempo drums and baltimore hey grunts, to one of the craziest electro wobble things we ve ever heard. seriously. crowds have been eating this thing up and with support from djs like craze, a-trak, kissy sellout, drop the lime and boyz noize this is bound to be a big tune for summer. of course you also get the original line up with the diplo produced >get off<, the awesome bonus beats, and the rob3 remix.
